Training
i-def.systems teaches functional self-defence – clear, intensive and realistic.
Entry into the system and regular training follow a structured and proven approach.
Getting Started
Our training is intentionally not open-ended or arbitrary. From the very beginning, the goal is to develop the right mindset, resilience and a solid understanding of the fundamental principles.
1. Mandatory Intro Seminar
The Intro Seminar is required before joining the regular training programme. Its primary purpose is not to teach techniques, but to serve as a structured assessment of resilience and personal suitability.
The focus is on individual resilience, stress responses, self-control and the ability to deal with physical and mental intensity. Participants gain a realistic understanding of whether this training system suits them and whether they wish to develop within it over the long term.
Duration: 3 hours
2. Weekly Small-Group Training
After completing the Intro Seminar, participants may apply to join the regular training programme. This is not an automatic progression, but a deliberate decision.
Training takes place in fixed, carefully matched small groups of 4–6 participants. Groups are organised according to the participants' level of development to create a shared learning environment and an appropriate level of challenge.
The emphasis is on deepening the underlying principles, training under pressure, and gradually developing stress resilience and the ability to act confidently under demanding conditions.
3. Group Training Sessions
At regular intervals, additional group training sessions are offered to participants from the ongoing small-group programme.
These sessions introduce new training stimuli through changing training partners, increased social interaction and higher levels of mental pressure. Their purpose is to apply previously learned principles outside the familiar small-group environment and to test them under different conditions.
4. Additional Training Opportunities
Depending on specific risks or professional requirements, we offer additional topic-focused training programmes. These are designed for particular target groups or professions and address the challenges of their working or everyday environments.
These include seminars and workshops on de-escalation, personal protection and confident decision-making, as well as introductory sessions and trial workshops.
All additional training programmes teach the core principles of i-def.systems within their respective areas of application.
